Norse Group is built on a foundation of joint ventures with Local Government and commercial partners, delivering property consultancy, commercial services and facilities management expertise across the UK. Norse Group’s front line operatives are supported by a number of experienced back office teams, including HR, Finance and Payroll, operating out of our Head Office in Norwich.
As a result of company growth and employee development, we are looking to recruit a Payroll Advisor to join our experienced team. This is an opportunity for you to join an established and industry leading company, undertaking a number of duties within the payroll team including; processing timesheets, responding to daily enquiries and assisting with payroll run checking reports.
Maintaining up-to-date payroll information will an important part of your role, and you will be expected to ensure data input on our iTrent system is accurate. Furthermore you will need to keep up-to-date with relevant legislation.
Whilst we are ideally looking for someone who has experience within a payroll environment, we are keen to offer personal development for the right candidate.
Your Experience:
* Proven experience within a previous administration role
* Ideally, you will have some exposure to a payroll environment
* Good working knowledge of relevant software, including Microsoft Office tools – in particular Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a business
* Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, and prioritise your workload accordingly
* Any existing knowledge of HMRC legislation would be an advantage
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 Hours Per Week Monday – Friday across core hours. There will be some flexibility within this to suit workload and payroll deadlines.
